Style My Kid / Chuzai Living

Style My Kid is our style diary to celebrate children and a glimpse into the world of children-inspired fashion. With this new series, we ask moms a couple of questions about how they dress their little people and hope that you'll get inspired by their styling tips, must-have baby gear and how they're so awesome!
To kickstart our series, we have Kaho from Chuzai Living, a Japanese expat that has lived around the world with her gorgeous family. Her effortless style and pictures never fail to inspire us!

1) What is your favorite childrenswear brand for clothes/shoes/accessories?
For my older girls, I like shopping at H&M Kids because they are stylish, cute and very affordable. ?For my son, I like J.Crew's CrewCut, but I can only afford to buy when they have a big sale. ?I love Le Petit Society's boy clothes as well. ?My son wears every piece from Le Petit Society until he can no longer wear it. ?They are just so adorable! ?For shoes, I like Old Navy the best for all my kids for their reasonable prices and cute design.
2) Where do you shop for your children??
I often shop at H&M, Old Navy, Target in the U.S., and Gap Kids.
3) What is your personal?style? What are your children's?style?
My personal?style?is simple, chic and trendy. ?I like simple design with beautiful pale colors and sometimes with sparkly accent. ?My children's?style?is pretty much the same as mine. ?I like their?style?to have a hip edge to it as well.
4) What is your children's favorite piece from our collections?
My daughters absolutely love the tribal dress?from the Safari Collection?to wear as a shirt with a pair of shorts. ?For my son, I love every single piece I own, so it's hard to pick one, but I love the orange cargo pants. ?Most recently I fell in love my son's adorable gray T-shirt with a Rhino with glasses print. ?It is such a cool piece!!!
5) What is one signature fashion piece in your children's wardrobe??
For my oldest girl, it is a pair of shorts. ?For my younger girl, it is a tutu skirt. Finally for my youngest son, it is a super hero print T-shirt.
6) What would you like to see more of in children's wear??
I would like to see more of clothes in faded soft colors such as a faded pink, gray and light gray color, etc. that you often see in France. ?I think colors are very important for kids fashion. ?Stylish and handsome design T-shirts with cute prints like the animal shirts are always nice for kids.
Thanks for sharing your styling tips with us, Kaho! We hope to see more of you and your beautiful kids around!
xoxo
