We'll share with you a little dream! We kept hearing how many kids love our pieces and how comfy they were, we dreamt that one day we would be able to come up with a collection with predominantly adult pieces. Because that's what we've strived to be always - an inclusive community.

So, coming to our store soon... our brand new and first ever maternity friendly collection, Mama + Mini! Launching in mid July, we've spent most of last year sampling and perfecting the silhouettes of this collection. We wanted clothes designed to suit both pregnant and non-pregnant ladies. 

With sketches in mind, our design team went into serious consideration the fabrics that would wear well, the colors that flatter and how they look like after frequent washes. We wanted each piece to be perfect and the piece you reach for all the time so naturally the fabric we eventually chose would tick all boxes. 

Then we went into sampling stages. Creating samples until we they were perfect. Did you know that our in-house design team can do it all? They design, sketch, paint and even sew! 

Of course we had to try them out ourselves to make sure we loved it doubly before selecting the final pieces that we think will make the cut in our collection.

Then we did something different this time round! We hosted a personal fitting session and tea party for expectant mommas in different stages of their pregnancy in our Downtown Gallery store (P.s. have you been to visit? We welcome visitors to come hang out anytime!). We wanted to hear what they found difficult in their pregnancy and have them try our samples so we could hear honest feedback. 

Can we tell you what we really enjoyed that afternoon - getting to know our customers and hearing your stories! It just goes to show how important our community is to us. We took down every feedback, measurement, fabric idea and inspiration they generously shared with us and applied it to our collection.

And because we wanted pieces that fits great, we went through great lengths to ensure that they're in fact one size fits all women, whether you're newly pregnant, almost there, just delivered or already a seasoned mama. 

And that's how we ended up with this selection of pieces in the Mama + Mini collection! The pieces above may or may not have made the final cut so I guess we have to stay put to find out!
